I found the Bringhurst book online for those who may be interested. It has a history of the Bringhurst family from a couple of generations before they came to America down to when they came to Utah.

My Grandmother was Lydia Bringhurst (#361), daughter of John Bringhurst (#166) by his 3rd wife, Elizabeth Slack. She was born in 1879. She had a copy of the original family history book, which I remember, as she lived with her daughter (and my mother)Lydia McCord Scott Miller from 1943until her death in 1968. It was "lost" after her death. What a wonderful book it was, and a great gift for the family now spread pretty widely throughout the US.
