I don't remember if I posted these already. I went back and looked through the posts briefly and didn't see them. Too bad these are not in color so you could see his red hair. I am told it was very red when he was young though by the time I knew him it was gray.

Yes, Grandpa Wilkinson's red hair was legendary, and to hear Mom tell about him his temper fit his hair. She used to say that he would come home and tell Grandma about arguing with someone and "then we came to blows!" He was a firey character. thanks for the pictures.
Good looking fellow...I guess that explains why we all got such great genes and are handsome/beautiful! I wish I could see the red hair also. Love the cucumber too.
Ya' he was one handsome dude!! I have a different picture of Grandpa with his garden--this one is with a sunflower so tall he is up on a ladder to reach it. He still had plenty of fire in him in his older years, so I have no problem believing he "came to blows" in a dispute. Basically, I think our cousin Steve Wilkinson looks more like him than anyone else in the family.
I love the cucumber pic. It's a classic.
